Chuyi works on web chat apps including WhatsApp Web, Telegram Web and Facebook Messenger, plus other web chat apps (for example Discord, Slack and LINE). The current list is always shown inside the extension and on its store page. Do you store my messages?你们会保存我的聊天内容吗?
No. Chuyi reads message text on supported chat sites only to translate it. We do not store your messages on our servers. Text is sent to the translation provider you use so it can be translated. What's the difference between the engines?不同翻译引擎有什么区别?
Free machine translation is fast and good for everyday chat. AI translation (paid) follows your chosen tone and handles slang and context better. DeepL (paid) is known for natural translations in many European languages.免费机器翻译速度快,适合日常聊天;AI 翻译(付费)能按你设定的语气翻译,更懂俚语和上下文;DeepL(付费)在许多欧洲语言上译文更自然。

Desktop Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari (Mac), plus Chromium browsers such as Brave and Opera. Choose your browser on the Download page; versions not yet published are marked "Coming soon". Yes to several browsers: sign in once in each browser and use Pro on up to 3 devices or browsers (up to 2 at the same time). You can see and remove your devices yourself. A Pro account is for one person, so please don't share or resell it. To stop sharing, we only count your signed-in browsers.
